Why Tipu?

Before they met Tipu, they tried outsourcing with another agency...

In 2020, the firm started its own outsourcing journey with another organisation.

 

“Our systems were hard to translate to an outsourcing team and we hit a brick wall,” explained the Senior Accountant.

 

While the team hoped that outsourcing would grow the firm, they realised that it just wasn’t working.

That’s when they met Ed.

What we did

We introduced them to the Tipu Difference

We introduced them to the Effective Resourcing program, designed to create consistency across the workforce and enable firms to take control of their outsourcing journey. After taking a good look at their current systems, Ed created a framework to increase efficiency.

 

“Ed helped us set up our database, console and information systems. We are a practice that have been in business for over 25 years and have long standing staff, so a lot of the information was in our heads. Ed showed us how to put that information into an actual system which has been really useful in enabling us to train both our in-house staff and offshore team.”

 

Before working with Ed, the team used Virtual Cabinet (a document management system) and APS. As these two systems do not communicate with each other, it was difficult for the offshore accountants to find the information they needed. The team at Tipu created a central database for a job approach document. The firm now use APS to create job briefs, making it far easier to outsource their work.

 

“It’s been really beneficial having Ed on board. He’ll schedule regular catch-ups and he’ll also be on hand to bounce ideas and help me to communicate with the team effectively.”
